About Okai Creative Lab
At Okai Creative Lab, we use 3D printers to create anatomical organ models. Thanks to their realistic and precise designs, these models are being utilized by educational institutions in Japan. Using 3D printing technology, we can resize these organ models to smaller dimensions and transform them into unique creations like figure straps for our “Medical TOY Series” by attaching specialized fittings. Miniature keychains inspired by medical equipment are also popular items.
Okai Creative Lab Storys
I am a certified clinical engineer currently working in a hospital. While providing daily treatment to patients, I also focus on training and mentoring junior staff. The “Medical TOY Series” was created with the hope of making medical professionals more familiar with the clinical field and medical equipment by crafting miniature figures of commonly seen medical devices and organs.
In the demanding and often overwhelming environment of healthcare, my wish is for these straps to bring a little joy to medical professionals, perhaps serving as a lighthearted conversation starter during their busy days.
Features
We never forget to show respect for medical devices and equipment. For instance, the “dialyzer” featured in the design of our dialyzer-shaped strap is an indispensable item in blood purification therapies such as dialysis. While the contributions of doctors, nurses, clinical engineers, and patients involved in these treatments are vital, it is thanks to the existence of these devices that we can perform treatments safely and save lives.
At Okai Creative Lab, we pay tribute to medical equipment itself and strive to create products with even greater precision and quality.
