Since 2015, I have been creating and showcasing my handmade accessories in the vibrant area of Shimokitazawa. My journey as a handmade artist includes:
2015: Collaborated with Shimokitazawa Oasis Blanc (collaboration concluded).
2017: Collaborated with Sangenjaya LUPOPO (collaboration concluded).
2021: Collaborated with Shimokitazawa South Exit Store (collaboration concluded).
2022: Currently showcasing at Shimokitazawa Mikan Store.

About me
“Ball Clasp” is a handmade accessory brand centered around the charming ladybug, created by a passionate artisan. Since childhood, I’ve adored ladybugs, and my deep love for these tiny creatures inspired me to share their charm with the world, leading to the creation of Ball Clasp.
My ladybug-themed accessories are primarily available at Shimokitazawa’s “Sukonbu,” a handmade shop, as well as online. Each piece in my collection is crafted to life-size, ensuring that when you wear them, you’re sure to hear, “You’ve got a ladybug on you!” from those around you.
Ladybugs are beloved symbols of good luck in France, Germany, many Western countries, and Japan. They’re not just cute; they’re considered powerful symbols of fortune. My accessories make for perfect gifts, whether for someone special, a loved one, or even a little treat for yourself.

We use Surgical Stainless Steel 316, a material trusted in medical environments. This high-grade, safe, and reliable material is commonly used in medical tools such as scissors, scalpels, and bolts.
We have obtained a Quality Analysis Certificate from a certified Japanese institution to ensure the highest standards. Each piece undergoes meticulous visual inspection and manual processing to minimize defects. To further ensure safety and reliability, we also require our Chinese material suppliers to provide regular certifications. Specifically, we ask for proof of compliance with the European RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive to confirm that the materials are 100% pure surgical stainless steel.
