We’ve created envelopes from unraveled kimonos or unused fabric bolts!
With a crisp texture similar to paper, they are suitable for mailing!
※ When mailing, please use woodworking bond to affix the seal, stamp, and address label.
Patterns are assorted into three types, chosen from a variety such as high-quality Oshima-tsumugi, lining fabric, and yukata fabric. (We ensure a balanced selection in each set.)
It’s such a waste to leave inherited kimonos sleeping in the closet. I’ve been pondering how to utilize them for a long time. They may have lovely patterns, but some don’t suit me, or they show signs of aging.
While remaking into Western-style clothes or bags is common, I wanted to enjoy kimonos in my daily life, which led to their transformation into “envelopes”
