Since my childhood, I have enjoyed making things with handicrafts and dressmaking.
Then, I studied design and dressmaking at a fashion school, and since I was a student, I have been creating works mainly using knitwear.
Currently, I am starting a hand knitting brand “ayane”.
forget-me-not
“Forget-me-nots that bloom in clusters in spring.”
It is a small, pretty and ephemeral figure made with “crochet flowers”.
The yellow ring in the center is woven to create a three-dimensional effect, and the white parts that spread out are embroidered one by one.
The language of flowers is “Don’t forget me”… It is derived from a sad love story in Germany.
There are wires inside the calyx, leaves, and stems, so you can adjust the direction and opening of the flowers to your liking.
