About us
We adhere to the basics of Origata etiquette, one of the samurai etiquettes with a history of over 600 years.
We combined it with the traditional Japanese craft of mizuhiki and arranged it for modern use.
Mizuhiki, crane back charm
I created a mizuhiki with auspicious plum knot as a crane’s body, and a tassel as a crane’s leg.
The fact that the crane is flapping its wings also gives a sense of optimism to those who purchase it, as it hints that they will flap their wings in the future.
In Japan, the crane is both the national bird and a symbol of good luck.
It can be used regardless of age or season, making it a perfect gift.
