S.A Arts&Crafts “white porcelain and Turkish blue glaze earrings”
After molding white potter’s clay into an elliptical shape, it was painted with a turquoise glaze that develops a unique blue-green color and fired to create parts for earrings.
Each part is molded by hand and fired in an electric furnace installed at home.
The soil used is Shigaraki clay. The Turkish blue glaze used is a glaze with a beautiful penetration and luster.
The scarlet color that forms at the boundary between the clay and the glaze is an accent.
