Introducing a new custom model of “Vacuum Lacquer KISSUL” in collaboration with lacquerware artists. “Reimei,” meaning dawn, signifies the beginning of something new. Developed by Sato Kiyomatsu Shoten and the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology, “Reimei” lacquer is a revolutionary lacquer that uses a new purification technique called thin-film spinning dispersion method. It offers unprecedented transparency and luster. Enjoy the beauty of this unique lacquer.

Craftsman’s Voice:
“Reimei” symbolizes the beginning of something new, reflecting COCOO’s determination. It features six colors of lacquer—red, orange, yellow, green, purple, and indigo—applied in a gradient. Large silver grains are sprinkled on the upper part to represent dawn just before the sun rises over the night sky. The entire piece is then coated with the highly transparent “Reimei” lacquer. Over time, the dark brown transparent lacquer lightens, transforming the night sky into the colors of dawn, allowing you to enjoy the gradual change.

Handling Precautions
Do not use in microwave ovens or dishwashers.

Do not rub strongly as the coating may peel off.
Do not drop or apply strong impacts to the product.
Do not use sharp objects as they may cause scratches, peeling, or damage.
Do not use abrasive sponges or metal scrubbing pads as they may cause scratches or peeling.
Do not use thinner, benzine, or chlorine-based bleach.
When using a dishwasher, place it so that no force or weight is applied.
To prolong the life of the product, hand wash with lukewarm water using a soft sponge and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
To avoid discoloration, store in a place away from direct sunlight.
If you are sensitive to lacquer, seek medical advice.
